The book that started it all
“So much biblical fiction jumps ahead to miracles. I wanted to honor the slow walk of legacy, the moments when destiny feels like duty.” ~ RR Wekesa
The Series
The Moses Chronicles series is a mythopoetic retelling of the Exodus journey—rooted in reverence, shaped by imagination, and told through the eyes of those history nearly forgot. This eight-book series begins not with Moses, but with those who came before him: the brothers who buried Joseph, the matriarchs who kept the covenant alive, and the mothers whose hands shaped empires.
Two volumes are complete (Prelude and Hands That Rocked the Cradle), with two more in active development (Divided Hearts and The Reckonings). The final four are planned for release over the next three years.
Blending sacred memory with cinematic storytelling, The Moses Chronicles is for readers who seek depth, silence, fire, and the breath between scripture and story.
“There’s something sacred in imagining not just the laws and leaders—but the lives behind the tribes of Israel.”
Hands that Rock the Cradle
This is not yet the story of Moses. This is the story of those who made his arrival possible. From 250 pages of patriarchal blessing and legacy in Prelude, to over 470 pages of upheaval, remembrance, and rising faith—The Moses Chronicles: Hands That Rock the Cradle spans generations, empires, and the sacred breath of women who kept the promise alive.
